Dismantling of the old mixer and preparatory work

Before dismantling the device, it is necessary to close the valves on the central water supply. Faucets are usually installed at the entrance to the apartment or under the sink. After closing the valves, drain the water, install a basin under the hoses and unscrew the nuts. Now you need to unscrew the old device. If access to it is difficult, remove the sink, while you need to pull the corrugation from the sewer and twist it into a ring near the siphon.

Now that the sink is removed, the plumber has easy access to the studs and locknut. If it is impossible to unscrew it with an ordinary key, they proceed to radical measures - they cut it off with a grinder. This is especially true when connecting the mixer to old metal pipes. Next, we make an audit of the junction of the supply hoses to the water supply. If necessary, a factory extension cord is packed in this place, which will become the key to normal bonding with the hose.

If desired, additional taps are installed on the supply pipelines to shut off the water, bypassing the central riser. When installing a plastic eyeliner, adapters are packed.

If the appliance is installed on an old sink, the user must clean the adjoining area from rust and accumulated dirt. Before you install the faucet in the kitchen on the countertop, you need to take an electric drill with a crown and drill a hole in it.

Installing a new faucet

All types of taps differ in design, they can be mounted on a sink or countertop. In most models, fastening is carried out on metal studs. In the kit of such a device there are brass nuts, as well as gaskets in the form of a crescent. The sanitary ware is sealed with a rubber insert of the same shape. There are models with one hairpin, but it is better to choose products with two clamps. This design provides a more secure fixing of the device.

Assembly

Installing a faucet in the kitchen with your own hands begins with its assembly. This device provides simultaneous supply of hot and cold water, has the appropriate mechanisms. The crane set includes:

  • valve;
  • spindle;
  • instrument head with stem and handwheel.

At the initial stage of work, eccentrics are mounted, which are supplied by the manufacturer along with the sealant. If there is no such material, then it is necessary to wrap the tow with a thin layer, which insures the device against possible water leakage. In the presence of thick walls in the mixer body, the thread is also wound with flax to secure the adapters.

Installation on the sink

Soak the fiber pads in cool water for 10 minutes. With silicone or rubber sealing elements, such operations are not carried out. Next, we bait the crane on the eccentrics using union nuts.

At the next stage of work, we install the gaskets in the right place and begin to clamp the crane, first manually, then using an adjustable wrench. During such work, distortions should not occur, so the nuts are screwed in several turns in turn. When the installation of the kitchen faucet is completed, check the correct position and fastening strength, the faucet should not stagger.

With nut fastening

This option for installing a faucet in the kitchen begins with fixing the faucet itself to the sink. The set of the device provides a rubber seal in the form of a ring, which is inserted into the groove on the mixer body. After that, we twist the product into the thread on the sink and install the rubber gasket from below. Next, we wind the brass nut with the skirt down and press the sealing element. We tighten the nut with a wrench until we ensure the fixed position of the mixer on the sink.

At the next stage of work, we proceed to fix the hoses. We twist them into the thread using the key number 10. There is no need to wind the tow onto the thread, it is enough to install a rubber sealing ring. Tighten the hoses carefully so as not to destroy the material. After that, the inlet pipes are connected to pipes with hot and cold water.

With stud attachment

In this case, flexible hoses are installed on the mixer even before it is mounted on the sink. In the absence of such operations, the plumber will not be able to tighten them qualitatively.

Installing a faucet in the kitchen takes place in the following order:

  1. We remove the nuts from the studs and tighten the threaded parts at the end of the crane. The depth of screwing the thread is within 8-10 millimeters.
  2. We try on a curly gasket and a steel plate on a hairpin.
  3. We pass flexible hoses through the holes with fittings up.
  4. We control the presence and position of the rubber sealing ring on the tap.
  5. We screw in the hose fittings, first the short one, and then the long one.
  6. We install the mixer in the sink or countertop, install the metal and sealing gasket at the bottom, bait and tighten the nuts.
  7. Tighten the nuts on the studs well. The mixer must not wobble.
  8. We control the tightness of the connection.

After installing the mixer, we fix the sink on the countertop in its original position.

To fix the sanitary ware on the countertop, you need to prepare the following tool:

  • set of drills;
  • electric jigsaw;
  • electric drill.

Now we will learn how to install a faucet in the kitchen in the countertop. First you need to determine the place of its attachment. After securely fastening the sanitary ware, liquid should not fall on the countertop, in addition, the user should be able to conveniently use the lever.

Next, we take a pencil and make markings on the countertop at the place where the sanitary ware is fixed. Now we make four holes with a drill, then turn on the jigsaw to cut the hole. We clean the place of the cut from sawdust and dust, rub the edges. At the final stage of work, we put a sealing ring and a washer, fasten the mixer to the countertop.

Connection to communications

We learned how to put a faucet in the kitchen, now let's look at how to connect it to utilities. First, we twist the eccentrics that connect the mixer to the pipes. To prevent condensation between the hot and cold water hoses, a distance of 15 centimeters must be left.

Tow is wound on the thread, smeared with sealant. For the same purpose, you can use fum tape. After that, we screw the mixer nuts onto the eccentrics and fix the special lining. This element must be fixed manually, it must fit well against the wall. If there is a gap of less than 5 millimeters, the crane is disconnected, and the eccentrics are shortened to the desired length.

Next, paronite, rubber or silicone gaskets are installed in the housing nut, which will ensure a snug fit of the mixer to the eccentrics. At the final stage of the work, the nuts of the inlet pipes for hot and cold water are tightened by hand, if a leak is detected during the check, they are additionally tightened with a wrench.

Health check

After the mixer is installed in the kitchen, it is necessary to check its performance. To do this, open the valves for supplying hot and cold water and inspect the attachment points of the flexible hoses. In case of leaks, tighten the nuts. When carrying out inspection work, it is necessary to turn on and off the tap, turn the lever and check the effectiveness of water mixing.

What to look for and possible errors

When installing a faucet in the kitchen, try not to twist the inlet flexible hoses. Always make sure that there are gaskets in the right places on the plumbing fixture and on the threaded connections. The worst mistake is to overtighten the nut at the junction of the hose and the supply pipe. In these places, rubber gaskets are installed, they are twisted by hand, and only when a leak occurs, the nuts can be gently pressed with a wrench.

Faced with the problem of replacing an old faucet, the big problem is not the connection, but the choice of a new type of faucet. It is necessary to choose not only the appearance, but also pay attention to the material of the mixer and its components. From their quality envy durability of operation of the device.

When installing a kitchen faucet, flexible hoses that connect to a water pipe play an important role. They must be reliable enough so that the owner does not have to frequently change the faucet connection.

Flexible hoses are represented by the two most popular types - reinforced and bellows.

The integrity of the structure and reliability in its use depend on the correct installation of the eyeliner. Therefore, when connecting hoses, it is recommended to use rubber gaskets and a seal.

Reinforced hoses. They are flexible water hoses covered with a metal mesh on top. Standard fittings with connecting nuts are installed along the edges of the hose. They are designed to be connected to a water pipe on one side and to a kitchen faucet on the other.

Advantages:

  • Installation does not require welding, easy to install with an adjustable wrench;
  • The hose is very flexible, able to repeat all the bends and turns on the way to the water pipe;
  • Resistant to sudden changes in water pressure.

The disadvantages include the rapid wear of the fixing nuts and the punching of rubber gaskets. The material from which the braid is made also affects the durability of the work.

Flexible hoses made of aluminum braid are cheap and wear out quickly. After 3-4 years, they will need to be replaced. The most durable are stainless steel and nylon, they can withstand high temperatures and can last up to 10 years. Steel hoses will not last even a year, most often they are used as a temporary eyeliner.

Bellows hoses. The outer layer of the hose is a corrugated metal tube, and inside they have rubber or rubber inserts.

Advantages:

  • They are flexible and resistant to mechanical damage;
  • Hoses withstand very high temperatures;
  • Easy to install;
  • Long service life;
  • The connecting fittings are welded to the corrugated pipe, which makes the sections more reliable.

Among the shortcomings, a low level of sound insulation can be distinguished - you can hear how water runs through the pipe. This problem can be solved by purchasing a bellows hose whose diameter is larger than the water pipe.

How to remove the faucet in the kitchen: dismantling the tap

Inexpensive faucet models are equipped with low-quality flexible hoses. When replacing an old mixer, you need to pay attention to the condition of the old hoses. Experts recommend replacing flexible water pipes at the same time as the faucet.

To dismantle the crane with your own hands, you will need:

  • Flat screwdriver;
  • adjustable wrench;
  • Phillips screwdriver;
  • sealant;
  • Sandpaper.

It is also advisable to have a small bowl on hand to drain the remaining water from the tap after dismantling.

Before proceeding with the dismantling of the old faucet, you need to turn off the water on the riser.

The sink will need to be removed in order to properly dismantle the old faucet - since working by climbing under the countertop is not very convenient.

Dismantling process:

  1. Open the faucet and drain the remaining water from it. Find the joints of the water pipes with the tap and the place where the mixer is attached to the sink.
  2. Unscrew the flexible hoses using an adjustable wrench. Drain the water into a bowl.
  3. Unscrew the lower part of the siphon from the sink and completely remove the sink from the cabinet.
  4. Using an adjustable wrench and a screwdriver, disconnect the flexible hoses from the mixer, remove them from under the sink.
  5. By removing the fasteners that attached the faucet to the sink, you can remove the mixer itself.

If the flexible hoses are to be used for installation on a new faucet, it is advisable to check them for contamination and inspect the rubber seals. They must be intact and in their place.

To saturate the water with oxygen, an aerator is provided in the faucet system. Find out all the details about their types and purpose from our material:

How to install a faucet in the kitchen step by step

After the old faucet is removed from the sink, you can proceed to install a new one. First of all, you need to connect the flexible hoses to the mixer with fasteners. You can use both old hoses removed from the previous tap, and new ones.

When installing, it is advisable not to confuse flexible hoses with cold and hot water supply.

The faucet is replaced with a sink turned upside down. Water also cannot be opened until the end of all work.

How to connect a new water tap yourself:

  1. Install the rubber gasket into the special recess in the base of the faucet.
  2. Put a new mixer with hoses screwed to it into the hole on the sink, holding the tap itself from below with your hand. Flexible hoses should be visible from above.
  3. Install the rubber gasket and fix it with the pressure plate. Screw the valve with bolts through the existing holes.

After installing the kitchen faucet on the sink, you can install it in its place and connect to the water supply. To check the mixer, it is recommended to turn on the water with a small pressure, gradually increasing it. The attachment points must remain dry - in this case, the connection is made correctly.

Before installing a new faucet on the kitchen sink, you need to assemble it. A single-lever faucet is usually sold assembled. When buying a mixer with two valves, you need to screw the “gander” into the body.

It is impossible to tighten the fixing nut strongly so that it does not crack (in case the crane is made of thin material, for example, silumin).

The assembled mixer must be connected to the water pipes with flexible hoses. Connection points must be sealed.

In plumbing work is used:

  • Linen thread (tow) with a special lubricant;
  • FUM tape;
  • Sealing thread;
  • anaerobic sealants.

When fixing a nut on a thread sealed with threads or tape, it should be carefully tightened so that the rubber gasket does not move.

How to install a faucet in the kitchen (video)

You don't need a plumber to replace an old faucet with a new one. It is quite possible to cope with the installation yourself, adhering to certain rules. The quality of the work depends on how long the mixer will last.

A breakdown of a kitchen faucet can occur at the most inopportune moment, when there is simply no time to wait for the arrival of a plumber. Agree, the ability to replace a plumbing fixture is useful to every home master. Moreover, to perform the work does not require special skills and expensive tools.

Before you change the faucet in the kitchen, you need to understand its device and get a clear idea of the procedure. We will help you in these matters.

The article provides detailed instructions for dismantling old devices and installing new models, taking into account their design features. Having studied the material, you can easily cope with the work and save the family budget on calling a plumber.

The reasons for changing the appliance can be different, ranging from a decrease in its functionality due to the wear of individual parts, and ending with a replacement in order to fit the mixer to the general interior of the kitchen.

Regardless of the reason for the replacement, the process of dismantling and subsequent installation is almost the same. And the owner of the kitchen, first of all, needs.

The following parameters should be evaluated:

  • design form;
  • configuration;
  • manufacturing material.

The design form is a choice at the personal discretion of the owner of the kitchen, but at the same time, when you are going to change the appliance, it is advisable not to deviate from the overall picture of the kitchen interior. The faucet configuration must match the installation method.

Recall that there are two common ways to install kitchen faucets:

  • wall;
  • desktop.

As a rule, in the kitchen, desktop faucets are used, designed to be located on the laundry sink panel or the side of the sink. Wall-mounted ones are gradually going out of fashion or are being practiced as part of elite kitchen interiors.

For installation in the kitchen, faucets with two separate taps for regulating the water flow or devices with a lever-type mechanism are mainly used. The latest designs are considered more convenient and are rapidly gaining popularity.

Also, the owner of the kitchen, who decided to change the plumbing, is given the opportunity to choose from two types of appliances according to the method of controlling the water flow. One view - designs with two taps (herringbone) and another view - where water is mixed with one lever.

The material for the manufacture of mixing plumbing fixtures is usually silumin, brass, bronze, ceramics. Devices based on silumin are less durable than brass and others.

Silumin mixers can be distinguished by weight and market price (they are lighter and cheaper). It is more practical to choose brass, bronze, ceramic products. Their price is more expensive, but they will last much longer, so in the long run, such products look more economical.

Faucet Replacement Instructions

A detailed description of the steps for reinstalling mixing equipment will help you avoid mistakes if you decide to replace it for the first time.

Tool and mounting kit

Dismantling and installation of a traditional kitchen sink accessory is performed using the following plumbing tools:

  • adjustable wrench - gas key first number;
  • wrenches (10*12, 13*14);
  • socket wrench with deep stock (10*12, 13*14);
  • wire coarse brush,
  • fluoroplastic tape - PTFE.

When solving the problem of how to replace or repair a faucet in the kitchen, the installer must have a complete installation set. This is a set of all necessary elements: gaskets, connecting hoses, nuts, screws, washers, etc., which are usually sold with the device.

The manufacturer supplements any set of kitchen faucet with instructions that indicate the sequence of installation of such a device.

To dismantle or mount a faucet in the kitchen, you will need a small set of plumbing tools. Every owner in the house should have such a set. It is useful not only for installation, but also in the process of plumbing maintenance.

In addition to the installation tool, you will need household accessories: rags, a bucket or a basin. Thanks to these objects, it is possible to minimize the spreading of water remaining in the pipelines when the dismantling process is carried out.

It is advisable to have a miniature flashlight, since usually the replacement of a desktop kitchen faucet is accompanied by work in dark conditions - under the sink, under the sink.

Dismantling the kitchen faucet

First of all, the water supply (cold, hot) to the mixer is stopped - the line taps on the pipes of the centralized supply are closed. After shutting off the lines, you need to open the mixer valves and make sure that no water flows. If there is a leak of water, this indicates wear.

In this case, you will first have to replace the taps on the water supply lines and only then continue working in the kitchen.

Before starting work on the dismantling / installation of plumbing in the kitchen, it is necessary to block the water supply through the hot and cold lines. After shutting off the shut-off valves, check the reliability of the blocking by opening the taps on the old mixer

In the absence of water leakage, dismantling work can be continued. Connecting flexible hoses (40-60 cm long) are located under the sink, which must be removed.

The flexible hose is attached to the centralized line with union nuts. It is convenient to unscrew them with an adjustable (gas) wrench. Flexible hoses are attached to the mixer body with tubular fittings. Here, to unscrew the fittings, you need a wrench 13 * 14 or 10 * 12, depending on the modification.

After the flexible hoses are disconnected, it is the turn to dismantle the mixing device itself. It is held on the sink thanks to two hex nuts and a special pressure washer.

The nuts are screwed onto two long studs about 50-60 mm long. Therefore, when replacing, it is most convenient to use a socket tubular wrench. The attachment point is located in the lower area of the faucet, so working under the sink is a common practice in most cases.

When the screws are loosened, the support washer is removed from the studs, after which the mixer can be easily removed.

The time comes and many owners of apartments and private houses face the question of how to change the faucet in the kitchen. There can be many reasons, and first of all it is worth finding out whether it is possible to replace the faucet in the kitchen with your own hands, without involving a professional plumber in solving the problem.

It is worth saying that in the process of how to replace the faucet in the kitchen, there is nothing complicated, you just need to follow a certain sequence of actions. And first of all, you should choose a device that will be the most convenient and suitable for the style of your kitchen.

Mixer selection

The question of choosing a mixer is not as simple as it might seem at first glance. Currently, their range on the market is represented by dozens of companies, hundreds of models and thousands of price options. Therefore, huge racks and showcases can cause confusion.

Tip: The first step to take before you decide to change your kitchen faucet is to choose a device before visiting the store. And our portal is ready to provide you with all the necessary photo and video materials, with the help of which you will purchase a high-quality and functional device.

Mixer selection depending on the internal device

  • . A simple and familiar design from childhood: a spout located between two faucets. The water supply is regulated by valves.

This design, although it has a relatively small price, has ceased to be in special demand. The fact is that individual components, in particular gaskets, are short-lived.

  • . Popular with most modern buyers. And this popularity can be explained by the fact that the desired water temperature and water pressure can be set using a single movement of the hand. Or elbow, or little finger.

  • . Stylish, modern and comfortable design. When you bring your hands to the sensor, which is built into either the sink or the body, water flows. You will have to pay decent money for such an electronic device. Therefore, this product occupies a modest market segment.

Faucet spout is an important factor

Next, you need to solve the issue related to the height of the spout of the mixer. If it is high, then as a result of strong pressure, water can spray in all directions. If the spout is too low, it is inconvenient to wash large dishes. Therefore, it is worth choosing something in between.

It is important that the faucet is matched with a sink that has adequate dimensions. If there are doubts about the choice, it is worth giving preference to those manufacturers who comprehensively solve this problem. A complete set, which includes a faucet, sink and, of course, additional accessories, will help solve this dilemma.

Perhaps you will pay attention to the possibility of using a modern kitchen assistant - a faucet with a pull-out spout. In various models, the spout can be removed from the nest by 60-120 cm. The use of modern materials in the manufacture of hoses allows you to get a high-quality, durable and hygienic kitchen device.

Nozzle design

The design of the nozzle can be made in two versions.

  • The usual aerator at the end, which is familiar to everyone.
  • Watering can shower operating in two modes: aerated jet and shower. Using the "shower" mode will allow, for example, to wash berries or greens quite carefully without damaging them. Well, and, of course, caring for the sink will be easier.

Materials for kitchen faucets

The service life of any device is determined by what material it is made of. Currently, faucets are made of metal, plastic, as well as kitchen faucets under the stone.

  1. Alloys of metals.

The production of mixers with a budget price category is made of an alloy of aluminum with silicon, the so-called silumin. These devices are not particularly aesthetically pleasing and cannot boast of outstanding durability.

Brass and bronze are metals that have an excellent reputation in the market. Strong, durable, water-neutral devices made from these materials are strong and durable. And they can be called the best faucets for the kitchen.

  1. Plastic.

Inexpensive, high-tech material that can adapt to the needs of any kind. Lightweight and durable material, chemically neutral to water.

It has low thermal conductivity, which is important in case of strong heating of the mixer parts. But still inferior to metals in terms of service life.

  1. Stone-look kitchen faucet.

Kitchen stone faucets represent a new direction in the kitchen interior. Such mixers are produced by casting, and if an artificial stone is used, then an object having any shape can be cast. Among these items is a mixer, which has unique decorative characteristics.

A stone faucet can have almost any color, but neutral ones are more popular: black, graphite, white. They fit perfectly with most existing sinks. Among the advantages of faucets under the stone, one can name the possibility of taking any, even the most fantastic forms.

From time to time, almost every person is faced with such an unpleasant phenomenon as a leaking faucet in the sink for dishes. And then the natural question arises - to repair it or to change it? old.

Classmates

Replacing a faucet in the kitchen is done in cases where it is easier to buy and install a new faucet and this will give a more reliable result than trying to repair it.

When is it necessary to change?

The most obvious indications for replacement will be mechanical damage to the case (chips, cracks), through which water constantly oozes. In this case, it is unrealistic to restore the integrity and tightness of the case with the same aesthetic qualities and maintaining reliable performance.

Also, replacement will be required when the seat is worn in cold or hot water. This type of defect can already be determined only by disassembling the mixer during its repair. You can try to eliminate it by grinding the seat with a special tool - cutter. This process is long, tedious and little predictable, which again speaks in favor of replacing the entire device as a whole.

Another example when it may be necessary to dismantle existing and install new equipment on a dishwasher is a change in the style of a kitchen interior.

Like in the kitchen, in an emergency? If such a need arises, you must either call a master plumber, or take the tools and replace it yourself. In principle, the process is not super complicated, and if you work slowly and carefully, then even a beginner can handle it.

Convenient kitchen faucet

Tools and auxiliary materials

For work you will need:

  • Spanners;
  • adjustable;
  • gas (sanitary);
  • end;
  • carob;
  • linen tow;
  • fum tape;
  • the mixer itself;
  • flexible water hoses.

Tool Requirements

You should pay attention to the jaws of adjustable wrenches. They must be rubberized (at least one key). This is necessary to protect the integrity of the decorative coating on the faucet union nut.

If both keys are with steel sponges, but you still don’t want to scratch the shiny coating, there is a simple way out. A roll of masking tape is taken and glued in several layers on the inner surface of the sponges. The thickness and strength of the adhesive tape is just enough to unscrew and tighten a couple of nuts.

The faucet must not damage the surface by fastening

Water shutdown

Before changing the faucet in the kitchen, it is necessary to shut off the water to the faucet.

If the house has a collector (parallel) wiring, then this is the easiest and simplest case. Appropriate taps cut off the supply of hot and cold water to the dishwasher. In this case, water will be regularly supplied to other points of analysis (bathroom, toilet).

With sequential wiring, you will have to turn off the water already in the entire apartment. This can be done with the help of valves that are installed at the entrance to the apartment.

The most difficult case (this occurs, although extremely rare) is the lack of shut-off valves on the water supply risers. In this case, you will have to turn off the water at once to the entire entrance. It is better to immediately entrust such work to professional plumbers from the Housing Office or a specialized company. It is unlikely that a beginner will be able to complete the work in the shortest possible time the first time.

Relief pressure relief

In water pipes there is always some excess pressure, due to which circulation is carried out. After the supply valves are closed, it is necessary to open the mixer taps. The residual pressure will be released, and at the same time the water remaining in the pipes will partially merge.

Replacing a faucet in the kitchen begins with the dismantling of existing equipment.

Shut off the water

Disconnecting the faucet from the water supply

The connection of the kitchen faucet to the water supply system is carried out by means of flexible hoses for hot and cold water supply. First of all, it is necessary to disconnect them from the water supply. For which, with one wrench, the union nut is unscrewed, which fixes the hose on the pipe. The second key simultaneously fixes the water pipe so as not to roll it out of its position.

Previously, it is recommended that a container for collecting water be placed under the junction, or at least place a rag. Although some of the water was drained when the pressure was released, still some of it will certainly remain in the pipes.

Dismantling the mixer

Then, from the underside of the sink, a tightening nut is loosened with a long socket wrench. During this process, in order to avoid turning, it is recommended to hold the mixer with a wrench with rubberized jaws. A loose nut is completely unscrewed by hand.

The faucet, freed from fastening, is removed from the sink. Using an open-end wrench of the appropriate size, the supply hoses are unscrewed from their sockets. If their condition is satisfactory, then they can be reused in the process. Otherwise, you will have to buy new ones.

After the dismantling of the installed equipment, the essence of the process of how to change the faucet in the kitchen becomes more understandable. It remains to perform all the same operations, only in reverse order and with minor additions.

Faucet installation

Faucet assembly

To avoid unpleasant surprises in the future, the threads of the water supply hoses are sealed. To do this, several turns of fum fluoroplastic tape or linen tow treated with a hard-to-wash lubricant (lithol) are wound on their threaded part.

Using an open-end wrench, flexible water hoses are installed into the threaded holes in the faucet body.

A threaded stud is screwed into the lower part of the body and a decorative washer with a sealing insert is put on. During the further installation process, it will hermetically block the mounting hole in the sink.

Mounting the faucet on the sink

After the mixer is fully assembled, you can proceed with the installation work. This is done by passing the water supply hoses through the installation hole. From the bottom of the sink, the mixer is fixed with a special washer and tightening nut. The nut is screwed onto the stud by hand, then tightened with a socket wrench. Here it is important to accurately calculate the clamping force. With insufficient force, the faucet will wobble on the sink, and with excessive tension, there is a risk of thread breakage or deformation of the sink and faucet.

Water connection

To ensure greater tightness of the connection, the end threads on the hot and cold water pipes are sealed. The sealing process is completely similar to the process that was done with the threads on the flexible hoses.

The union nut on the eyeliner is first baited onto the water pipe, then completely wrapped with an adjustable wrench. Do not forget to hold the water pipe with the second key.

When connecting the mixer to the water supply, you should focus on the generally accepted connection scheme: hot water is connected on the left, cold on the right.

After connecting and preliminary inspection of all connections, water is released into the system. If all operations are done slowly and carefully, then everything should work out the first time.
