The cavity under the control membrane is connected to the atmosphere, so the membrane is pressed upward. At the same time, the inlet needle is lifted from the seat by means of the inlet adjusting lever, and new fuel enters the membrane chamber. Thus, the regulating diaphragm is set so that a certain amount of fuel is constantly supplied, sucked from the jets.

For more than 2 months I have had an impossibly simple Ryobi chainsaw (ryobitools.ru) PCN 4040. French assembly and from the same Chinese (like all other saws, including high-profile brands such as Shtil and Husqvarna), but pretty good quality parts.
